The Sidoo Family Giving Foundation is proud to partner with Pathfinder Youth Centre Society and Root & Rise to support disability mentorship programs that help young people build confidence, resilience, and real life skills. These programs give families and youth a space where they feel supported, encouraged, and connected to a community that believes in their potential. Alongside this work, the Foundation has also donated Vancouver Canucks tickets to give families a once in a lifetime experience, creating memories filled with excitement, joy, and a sense of belonging. Together, these efforts reflect a shared commitment to opening doors, lifting up families, and giving every young person the chance to move forward with hope.

Through the support of David Sidoo and the Sidoo Family Giving Foundation, every Air Raid Academy athlete had the chance to compete at Battle of the Border—proving that financial barriers should never stand in the way of a dream.

More than 250 people gathered at the University of British Columbia to honour the life and legacy of iconic football coach Frank Smith. At the request of the Smith family, longtime friend and former UBC Thunderbird David Sidoo served as MC for the celebration, and he shared that he was honoured to be asked to help commemorate a coach who meant so much to so many.

With both financial support and mentorship from David Sidoo, the KidsPlay World Cup gave youth from all backgrounds a chance to play, grow, and believe in their potential—on and off the field.

With mentorship, guidance, and financial backing from David Sidoo, Showtime Media launched BC Football’s first-ever Media Day Series , empowering young athletes with professional digital content, a stronger voice, and the belief that their stories deserve to be seen.

Through the Sidoo Family Giving Foundation, David Sidoo continues to champion prostate cancer care—supporting education, treatment, and access to life-saving resources for patients and families across Vancouver.

At the KidsPlay Gala, David Sidoo awarded $2,000 scholarships to two rising soccer stars, supporting youth development through the Sidoo Family Giving Foundation. Featured on Yahoo Finance, this initiative highlights Sidoo’s mission to invest in grassroots sports and empower the next generation.
